Online Therapy and Telehealth
Specialized Psychological Treatment Across PSYPACT States and Jurisdictions
Dr. Hill provides specialized psychological treatment via telehealth to adolescents ages 16 and older and adults across the lifespan. Through her PSYPACT authorization, she is able to work with individuals located in participating states and jurisdictions across the country.
Telehealth makes it possible to work with an experienced psychologist even when the right specialist is not located nearby. Dr. Hill has more than 20 years of experience in private practice and specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, anxiety, and perfectionism.
Specialized Treatment, Wherever You Live
Finding a psychologist with expertise in a particular area can be challenging, especially for individuals who live in areas with fewer specialized providers. PSYPACT allows authorized psychologists to provide telepsychology across participating states and jurisdictions, significantly expanding access to specialized psychological care.
Dr. Hill provides online treatment for concerns including:
Eating disorders and disordered eating
Body image concerns
Anxiety
Perfectionism and high self criticism
Depression
Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
Identity concerns
Life transitions
For individuals seeking treatment for eating disorders, disordered eating, or body image concerns, Dr. Hill brings extensive clinical and academic experience to her work. Her doctoral dissertation at Stanford University examined body image dissatisfaction among adolescent and preadolescent girls, and she has worked extensively with adolescents and adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image difficulties since 2009.

About Telehealth
Telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure video platform and provide the same individualized, collaborative approach as in person treatment.
Many individuals appreciate the convenience and flexibility of meeting virtually. Telehealth eliminates travel time and can make it easier to incorporate regular therapy into work, school, family, and other responsibilities.
For others, the primary benefit is access. Telehealth makes it possible to choose a psychologist based on experience, specialization, and personal fit rather than geography alone.
How PSYPACT Works
Dr. Hill’s PSYPACT authorization
Dr. Hill is licensed as a psychologist in Maryland and Washington, DC and holds authorization to provide telepsychology through PSYPACT.
PSYPACT is an interstate compact that allows appropriately licensed and authorized psychologists to provide telepsychology to individuals located in participating states and jurisdictions. Because participation can change, prospective patients can consult the official PSYPACT map to determine whether their location is currently included.

A patient's physical location at the time of the appointment determines whether Dr. Hill is permitted to provide telehealth under PSYPACT. Dr. Hill can help prospective patients determine whether telehealth treatment is available in their location.
Is Telehealth Right for You?
Telehealth can be an effective and convenient option for many people, but it is not necessarily the right format for every individual or every clinical situation.
During the initial consultation, Dr. Hill will discuss your concerns, treatment needs, location, and other relevant factors to determine whether outpatient telehealth treatment is appropriate. When another type or level of treatment would better meet an individual's needs, she can help identify appropriate options.

Finding a psychologist with the right combination of expertise, experience, and personal fit is important, regardless of where treatment takes place.
