DOes DR. HILl accept insurance?

I do not participate directly with any insurance companies but will provide you with a statement (Superbill) at the end of each month to use to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Payment is due at the time of service. Check, credit card and Venmo are accepted.

HOw long are the sessions?

The first appointment is 75 minutes in length. During this initial consultation session, the goals are to get to know one another, begin to develop a strong working relationship, gather relevant history and formulate treatment goals. Subsequent sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes in length and will serve to address treatment goals.

How frequently will I have sessions?

Meetings take place once or twice per week depending on your needs and schedule. Some patients find that once we have made progress that they prefer to move the frequency to every other week or once per month.

Does Dr, Hill offer virtual sessions?

Yes! Many of Dr. Hill’s clients elect to work virtually to make it a bit easier to attend sessions. Dr. Hill will walk you through ensuring you have an effective set up so that you can get the most out of you time together. Some clients elect to do a hybrid model, where by some sessions are in person and others are virtual. All options are effective!

How LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE PROGRESS?

The answer to this question is quite varied from person to person. Most individuals feel some increased hope and energy after starting treatment - so even after one session some relief is reported. Dr. Hill always aims to ensure her clients are armed with the most up to date skills to better tolerate, regulate, and soothe themselves as they navigate challenges that arise. Healing does take time and each individual’s path is unique and varied. An underlying goal of therapy is to find ways to create a more meaningful life that feels easier to manage, with increased connection, presence, vitality, and personal growth, while also approaching change at a pace that feels manageable to each individual.
